This classic wooden USA Map puzzle has the name of the state imprinted on the tray under each state-shaped piece, and the capital is on the bottom side of each of the pieces. 
The details are printed in this way to allow a "FLASH CARD" approach to learning - guess the capital, then confirm your answer by checking on the back. 
Besides learning the states and capitals, you'll also learn the SHAPE of each state 
and the names of other states that border each state.

We combine the state of Delaware with Maryland, Connecticut and Rhode Island are connected to Massachusetts (although we paint each state a different color)... this is to help you to not lose the tiny pieces. Each of the 5 Great Lakes are pieces.

A fun way to learn or revisit your travels. The smallest states ( CT, DE, RI ) are cojoined with a neighbor state to minimize the risk of loss. The three and the Hawaiian Islands are hand painted. Handcut, hand sanded, and hand colored with non-toxic materials throughout. Puzzle measures 25" x 17" x 1". This item ships via UPS in 7 to 10 days.
