The ball closure key chain is made of a durable jeweler’s metal. The stylish design includes a genuine half dollar set in a sturdy silvertone bezel. The Presidential Seal shows the eagle highlighted in 24 KT gold. The JFK Half Dollar was first minted in 1964 to honor President John F. Kennedy. It was designed by Gilroy Roberts and Frank Gasparro. The obverse features a bust of Kennedy while the reverse displays the Presidential Seal. From 1971 to Present the coin is composed of copper-nickel. The coin is no longer minted for circulation. Coins are historical, collectible and designed to show pride in your heritage. Mint marks will vary. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
