Summary:

We offer a "Combo Pack" that consists of a male Sacro Wedgy® and a Neck Support. This package provides a small discount compared to purchasing each product separately.

* The Sacro Wedgy® is a sacral stabilizer designed to isolate, cradle and elevate the sacrum, holding it in a neutral position to help tight muscles relax and restore balance from the hips to the neck. For instance, if the piriformis muscle is too tight it could involve the sciatic nerve. Relax the muscle, release the nerve.

* When used with a neck support, the Sacro Wedgy® creates a gentle "dual traction" that allows gravity to do the work.

* The Sacro Wedgy® is available in male and female versions to accommodate different body types. (One variable would be that a taller or more narrow female frame may be more comfortable on the slightly longer more narrow male version).

* The system is not designed to be a quick fix but a daily therapy routine to allow muscles to slowly and naturally return to balance.

*We found it necessary to design a cervical roll to compliment the Sacro Wedgy® since supporting the neck is crucial. The neck support completes the system of stabilizing and slightly elevating both ends of the spine. The only thing left to do is the most "nothing" you can do - RELAX and let gravity to the work.

In as little as 10-20 minutes a day, you can begin to help correct the muscle imbalances that often cause symptoms such as sciatica, back pain, hip pain and even knee pain. Simply place the Sacro Wedgy® at the base of your spine under the sacrum and lie down, and relax with support added under your neck. Both ends of the spine are stabilized to create a natural traction which allows gravity to take over to help muscles relax into alignment. This is not a quick fix. One comparison would be when a dentist puts braces on your teeth, the alignment process takes place over time. You can also sit on the Sacro Wedgy® for the convenience of self care and preventing symptoms from reoccurring - as very often a bucket seat is what started the whole process of being out of balance.

The Sacro Wedgy® was designed to mimic an osteopath technique of holding the sacrum in a slightly elevated, neutral position with your hand. It was developed by a football coach and trainer who for many years did the same sacral hold for his athletes. The results were often a "game changer" so he thought everyone should be able to do this at home on a regular basis. This system is not a quick fix any more than one visit to a professional will be a quick fix. This system only works for those that want it to work. The beginning changes may be intense so start slow - relax 10 minutes then stop with 20 minute sessions being the time it takes for gravity to kick in and muscles begin to change. Being centered is the goal and relaxing is how you get there. The system he designed has the end of the spine (or the sacrum), being held with the Sacro Wedgy and the top of the spine being with a neck support close to the shoulders with head draped comfortably back for a natural traction using gravity to do most of the work.

We made the neck support convenient for travel, 10" long and 4" in diameter. This cervical roll is high enough to support the average neck curve using a very dense foam and with a blue, poly/cotton zipper cover.
