JennyGems, born from Jenny and Dave's home, started as a part-time venture, evolving into a thriving business. After Jenny's full-time banking job loss at MBNA America, she embraced online sales full-time, succeeding with Dave later joining after leaving his role as an Animal Control Officer. In 2015, they officially launched JennyGems®, facing challenges but persistently pursuing new goals.

From a 7,000 sq ft warehouse and a Harbeson, Delaware gift shop, they expanded, initially outsourcing manufacturing to China. Trade wars in 2019 and a lack of US suppliers led them to invest in local equipment, coinciding with the 2020 pandemic. Despite setbacks, they rebounded on social media, emphasizing the "Made in USA" theme and offering support to frontline nurses. Orders soared, enabling them to rehire and expand their team.

JennyGems® received national recognition, featured on CNBC, and Jenny was honored with the Small Business Administration's prestigious award - Woman-Owned Business of the Year for 2022, representing Delaware.
