Our salt is solar evaporated and hand harvested on the Dickinson Family Farm. Our family started making salt here in 1817, and produced until 1945. In 2013, Nancy Bruns, and her brother, revived the family business to meet a need in the local food market. Appalachian flavors are used to infuse the salts. They also curate a variety of Appalachian goods from the region to promote the amazing producers in the area.
